Arimuni was designed to embrace its extraordinary setting, offering a rare sense of wilderness and tranquillity in the heart of Nairobi.

Designed as a contemporary Mediterranean home with a refined African sense of space, it enjoys uninterrupted views of the Ngong Hills and the neighbouring Giraffe Sanctuary, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living.

Rather than imposing on the landscape, Arimuni was designed to become part of it. Resident warthogs roam the gardens, more than 84 bird species call the property home, and giraffes can occasionally be spotted from the rooftop terrace.

We wanted to create a home that sits lightly within its surroundings. Arimuni operates largely off-grid with solar power, battery storage, rainwater harvesting and biodigester systems, and was built with plantation-grown Meru oak rather than indigenous hardwoods.
